SARK Names Creativity-Portal.com 'Excellent Writing Resource' in Juicy Pens, Thirsty Paper

Juicy Pens Thirsty Paper by SARK

Creativity Portal Named An 'Excellent Writing Resource' by SARK!
Sixteen days ago I received the most wonderful news: My 8-year Web project, Creativity Portal (creativity-portal.com) is a featured "Excellent Writing Resource" in Chapter 8 of best-selling author SARK's (planetsark.com) newest book, Juicy Pens, Thirsty Paper (Gifting the World with Your Words and Stories and Creating the Time and Energy to Actually DO It).

Not only that, but MY NAME also appears alongside the Web address as: Chris Dunmire's extravaganza of creativity. Oh. My. Stars.

Can you imagine the ecstatic energy spinning through my chakras at the sight of my name printed in that whimsical SARK handwriting font (on page 177!) as I stood in the writing aisle of a local Barnes & Noble bookstore? True bursting joy, I tell you.

Julia Cameron, author of the extremely popular The Artist's Way is quoted on the back cover of Juicy Pens, Thirsty Paper: "SARK is a sparkler who jump-starts the creative process. Her ideas are user-friendly, innovative, and pragmatic.” I've written about SARK many times before and had the privilege of attending one of her workshops in 2004 at Transitions bookstore in Chicago. She's weaved herself into the fabric of our contemporary creative history and is such an inspiration in so, so, many ways.

I'm also pleased to see other Creativity Portal contributors included in SARK's book: Jill Badonsky, Barbara Abercrombie, and Heather Blakey are some I've seen so far (I'm halfway through the book).

This totally unexpected surprise (and extreme honor!) gifted to me by one of my favorite creativity heroes has been such an affirming, validating experience to my creative life.

Thank you so much Susan! •
