Annie Things Possible ® Whimsical Characters & Creative Designs Oct-30-2006

I didn't even have to pull up Annie's Web site (anniethingspossible.com) in my Web browser to know that I already liked where the concept was going. Any thing's possible. When there's a positive play on words involved, I know I've met a kindred spirit. How pleasantly surprised to know how correct I was!

Enter Annie Lang, owner of the Annie Things Possible® Web site who's profile describes her as a "self-taught award winning designer/author who has published 29 decorative arts how-to instructional books," and "Her many licensed characters and project designs have appeared in a wide variety of painting and craft magazines and on numerous commercially manufactured products for more than a decade." Talk about creative accomplishment!

Now, back to her fun Web site. It's literally chock-full of freebie projects, scrapbook templates, cards, CD cases, and other creative curiosities (for kids and adults) that you can download in PDF files for personal, non-commercial use. Not only that, you can learn some cool stuff too. On the Creative Learning page she's got a handful of useful tutorials, such as how to transfer line art patterns to creative projects and understanding the basics of decorative painting. These are important things to know!

Annie exuberantly expressed to me recently that "My Holiday site format is absolutely LOADED with creative ideas, will be updated weekly and features a different project theme each week from Thanksgiving through New Year's Day. Projects are specifically designed for all age groups, are easy and inexpensive to make, and will be made available as free pdf downloadables."

A creative kindred spirit indeed. And when you visit Annie's site, you'll know that you are in a place where artful passion reigns and this someone is truly following their creative bliss. These are the kind of creative people you want to hang around with because they're so contagious. Oooh, I can feel a GERMinating idea coming on already!
