Nit Wits #14: What a Croc!
Sharp Sentiments on Getting to the Point of it... by Chris Dunmire
Do you know what the difference between an alligator and a crocodile is? According to the Crocodilian Biology Database, there are several differences between them. Visually, their jaw shape is different. Alligators have a rounded snout and crocodiles have a longer and more "V" shaped nose. However, their similarities are striking, aren't they? I mean, they're both reptilian, have sharp teeth, and are scary when they sneak up on you!
So what does this have in common with pointy-toothed liars? Hmmm... The best advice I received about crocodiles was in third grade: Never smile at a crocodile! I don't smile at liars, either, so stop telling me your alligator bag stories! •
