A Berry Good Way to Find Everyday Sweetness!
Okay, currently our 12-month calendar names are based on some
ancient Greek and Roman gods. I know it would SO upset the
apple cart to go and rename the months now, but isn't it tempting
to think about how much our world would change if we did?
And, and, we don't even have to get really whacked out about
the name changes. Maybe we can keep them looking similar so
as not to cause too much confusion. For instance, Nit Wits
#25 does an awesome job at renaming January. Turn that "n" into
an "m" and we've got JAMuary! As an added bonus,
JAMuary has a built in jelly theme we can use to rename the
days of the week (which by the way, are based on planet names, Y-A-W-N).
Sunday becomes Apriday
Monday becomes Rhubday
Tuesday becomes Plumsday
Wednesday becomes Strawday
Thursday becomes Grapeday
Friday becomes Lemonday
Saturday becomes Raspday
Silly? Of course! Creatively possible? Aprsolutely. •
