If it floats yer boat... by Chris Dunmire

You Can Draw Cartoony Things! A Creative Drawing Book for Everyone

Playful Cartoony Lessons:
Learn how to draw the Nit Wits sail boat in my printable You Can Draw Cartoony Things! lessons ebook.

I've never been to a boat store before. Oh, I've been in various sporting goods stores where they have small canoes and rubber rafts on display for sale, but I can't think of a time when I've seen a life-sized sail boat (sailboat?) in full upright open-sailnessness for sale in a store.

Where does one go to buy a sail boat? A surfboard shop? No, that's more like a skateboard without wheels and is sold in places with names like Ron Jon and Cutty Shark. Which reminds me, I have seen surfboards with sails. But I have not seen snails with sails or pails with nails.

Okay, this is getting silly.

Maybe one day I'll be in the right oceanside town and find a marina selling these pleasure boats. You know when I do I'm going to ask the boat sales people two things: 1) if there is a sale on their sail boats, and 2) if Sally really sells shells by the seashore.

And if she does, does Sally have a boat with a sail? A sallyboat?
