No matter if you're 15 or 70, you can learn a lot from people
outside of your age group, from different cultures, backgrounds,
faiths and traditions.
Inspiration often strikes when we are open
to new thoughts and ideas that come from sources outside
of ourselves and our immediate surroundings. And when it comes
to people, we become used to the familiarity of our
family, friends, and others in our demographic that it becomes
easy to start believing in one "right way" to do
things.
Meeting new people outside of our sphere of life is a
great way to
learn "other
ways" of doing things, creatively or otherwise. We don't have
to believe or embrace every new idea or opinion, but by being
open to hearing them we may discover new springs of
inspiration to explore further. •
