Mornin' Stormin' Tea Bag Wrappers

Mirecle CreativiTea Wrappers Posted Apr-3-2006
April Fool's! And a Bit o' History
If you enjoyed my 2006 April Fool's Day joke and want to make your own Mirecle CreativiTea bag packets to use and amuse your tea-loving pals, you may download and print my original wrapper designs and fold your own. You have two creativity enhancing tea flavors to choose from: Earl Grey Matter and Mornin' Stormin'.

If you're interested in a little history about this fresh fabrication of mine, here's the story: About four months ago I was inspired to produce a new Mirecle product (like the Creativity Patch) and in-cubation hit on the perfect word play for the one word I breathe every day: Creativity. CreativiTea. Perfect!

I gathered up some items to start the CreativiTea project but soon put it aside to tend to other things. Days turned to weeks into months and if I had an inbox labeled "PROCRASTINATION" that's where the CreativiTea project was sitting, growing cold. In a creator's life, I don't know what's worse than having a project you really want to do, seeing pieces of it every day in various places around your desk (or studio) gathering dust, but still allowing procrastination and other work to keep pushing it further away from fruition.

In the third week of March I saw April peeking around the corner. "I must get this done in time for April Fool's Day." I convinced myself. So I did and unleashed the joke on the Creativity Portal newsletter readers.

By the way, the tea flavor names (Earl Grey Matter and Mornin' Stormin' ) made a wonderful play on the brainstorming concept. And yes, I've been drinking truckloads of tea while priming this project, designing packets, mocking ad photos, and fabricating my marketing scheme.

So there you have it: another humor creation compliments of Chris. I'm curious to see how long it takes before someone really starts marketing creativity-enhancing tea. Remember, you seen it here first.

brew creative ideas.
