Halloweeny Word Search Puzzle

Halloween Word Find Puzzle Posted Oct-20-2006
And a Creative Writing Prompt for YOU!
Oh look — another pumpkin! Witch reminds me, I'm convinced that designing word search puzzles without the aid of puzzle-generator software is its own creative reward. Candy corn, on the other hand, is NOT so rewarding. Just think, you get to find all of the Halloween themed words embedded in the puzzle grid, but I was the one who hid them there!

I dare you to go print my latest word search puzzle off the Web and find all of the ghouly words. Or are you a fraidy-cat? It's not a trick, it's a treat! And then, if you're feeling extra ambitious, here's a challenging creative writing prompt just for you — one that even your mummy can do:

CHRIS' PUZZLING WRITING PROMPT
Use all of the words in the find-a-word-section on the puzzle sheet in a piece of creative writing. If you do, send me the URL on your site where you published it (ala Sunday Scribblings-style) and I'll share it with the class.

Hey, I don't care if you do this a year (or three) from now. If I'm still here, I'll wanna see it. Boo!
