Workshop Book »

When the teacher is ready, the students appear.

You Can Draw Carrot-oony Things too! It's official: I'm a bona-fide creativity workshop facilitator. I taught my first kid's art workshop "artshop" this past Saturday, January 19, 2008, at Womanspace in Rockford, Illinois, using the philosophy behind my exclusive creative playbook, "You Can Draw Cartoony Things!" as the artshop's foundation.

More about the workshop and its curriculum will surface in time. But for now I wanted to announce that both the personal and teacher's edition of the playbook, "You Can Draw Cartoony Things!" has been combined, upgraded to a single book (second edition), and licensed as one teaching tool with a new price for individuals, teachers, and workshop facilitators.

Just in case you missed it the first time around, my playbook, "You Can Draw Cartoony Things!" is a humor-inspiring drawing tool in a printable e-book format for parents, teachers, home-schooler’s, kids (& kids at heart!), art workshop facilitators, creativity workshop leaders, aspiring humorists and budding comic artists. It features 15 easy step-by-step reprintable cartoony lesson pages, 13 original Nit Wits comics, coaching tips on developing your own cartoony style, and recommended Websources for your continued cartoony journey.

Just in time for the release of the second edition, I extend a humongous THANK YOU to both Lilly Fluger (Lillyarts.com) and Angela Hook (WireInspire.com) for kindly responding with two wonderful testimonials ("bestimonials") to promote the playbook. It's an honor to receive such encouraging feedback from two artists whose own work I truly admire. •
