Cartoony Lesson #9: How to Draw an Ant

You Can Draw Cartoony Things! Personal Edition

Welcome Cartoony Drawing-Seeker!

The free drawing lesson that used to play on this Web page has packed its little cartoony self and moved on up! Yes, it was so popular with googly searching creatives that it's now been published in my exciting printable e-playbook, You Can Draw Cartoony Things! which features this drawing lesson and 14 others, plus 13 of my original Nit Wits comics and more drawing resources to inspire creative cartooning, imagination, humor, and play (click on book covers above to learn more). Thank you for your interest! — Chris Dunmire, Author

Nit Wits #17: Antagonize

Cartoony ants are easy to draw if you see them as simple lines and shapes, as I did in Nit Wits #17 ("Antagonizing Ants"). After you draw the outline of the ant, color it black or red to look like a real ant.

Learn how to draw your own ant by following the cartoony drawing lesson in my printable e-playbook, You Can Draw Cartoony Things!
