Dream Journal

Spreading Around that December Joy

By Chris Dunmire

That painted journal above looks strikingly familiar, doesn't it? Well, you might have already guessed it's the end result of my December Joy painting I wrote about last week. Yes, with a few finishing accents, I turned this winter blues-breaking project into a Dream Journal I'm using for one of my first Found Art! projects.

What is Found Art? I'm glad you asked! It's a Web-based global art project with the aim to "Make the world a better place right now by empowering people across to globe to share on a soul level." And how does this sharing happen? In a very fun and giving way: You create your work of art, register it on the Found Art! Web site, tag it, and then leave it somewhere for a stranger to find. Your recipient can choose to leave you feedback on the Found Art! site in your own personal gallery by following the information steps on your tag.

I have several more Found Art! objects I'm in the process of registering and tagging for a distribution day next week. Going forward, this project will be chronicled as my Found Art! Experiment, so come follow the fun!

Meanwhile, if you want to see how I made my Dream Journal to make your own, see my Painted Dream Journal Project Instructions. •
