"The Lights of Christmas Eve" Posted
Dec-24-2005
Two things that move me the most during the holiday season are the music and
the lights. I can listen quietly to old Christmas songs created before my time
and gaze into the dancing bulbs on a string of Christmas lights and be content
at soul level.
The music and lights carry an energy that transcends the materialistic
level of the Christmas holiday. This is essence of my above "The

have been around at least since the days of my elementary
school Secret Santa Workshops. In fact, I'd venture to say
this idea is as old as the first ice cream served on a Popsicle
stick!
I figured out how to make one of these nifty sleds by memory
with eight wooden craft sticks, some glue, acrylic paint, and
curling ribbon. Then I took it out into my backyard and ran
it down a huge hill. Works pretty good if you're about three
inches tall. Oh, and they make great gifts!

Try a new role on for size.
As regards to your creative life, what is it that you really
want to do? Write books? Paint furniture? Knit scarves? Do you
keep saying to yourself "I can't _____ because I'm not a
_____." ... |
