Sarah Mueller's Artworks Daily Blog August-30-2009
"'Painting' as a verb."
We are gifted with the ability to enjoy richer lives through immersing ourselves in the creative manifestations of others. When I visited Sarah Mueller's blog today (Artworks Daily) I felt energized and inspired by her artful experiments and confident play with traditional and organic materials as she generously shared her perspective and journey with the blogosphere.

Art communicates and connects us all on a deeper level if we allow it. In an ego-less space we can see more than just with our eyes. I welcome more of this enriching and meaningful consciousness into my life. •

My Stroke of Insight by Jill Bolte Taylor, PhD

Jill Bolte Taylor, PhD: My Stroke of Insight August-26-2009
Surviving a stroke, right by left brain.
I just finished reading a very inspiring, informative, and hopeful book by Jill Bolte Taylor about her personal journey as a brain scientist surviving a stroke at age 37 and rebuilding her life over the next eight years. ...

Baby Green Peppers from Chris' Garden

Essay: The Wisdom Growing in My Garden August-18-2009
Manifesting in Baby Bell Peppers
Baby bell peppers from my garden + deep writing = my latest Current Living essay. Do your creative ideas need a continual stream of nutrients and ongoing care to grow or demand autonomy to take root and flourish in their own space until harvest time? •

Badonsky's "Rules of Creative Liberation" August-15-2009
Pete Moss
Here's a fun read too good to pass up by Awe-manac author Jill Badonsky in her latest exclusive snippets-that-didn't-make-the-book-cut on Creativity Portal, Awe-cerpts Continued.... My favorite is #5 on ignoring the Inner Critic during the early stages of the creative process. Jill has such a gift at implanting wonderfully effective visuals, doesn't she? I'll never, ever, forget the "dragging some toilet paper on my shoe" bit when I'm editing. •

Shout Outs: Web Sites & Blogs
Creativity Portal's 365 Pictures feature is such a colossal success that I simply must begin spotlighting the wealth of creative talent this prompt pool is drawing from and give you the opportunity to visit the Web sites and blogs of so many generous creative people from all over the world for more of their inspiring... inspiration!

You can see the official daily detailed list for August on Creativity Portal, but here's a more truncated, quick-click alphabetical list of contributors with links to their sites, blogs, and portfolios:

Certified Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coach

Certified Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coach August-5-2009
Chris Dunmire, KMCC
An 8-month journey pauses here as I accept my Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coach certificate and add "Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coach" to my resume. The philosophy and tools of the Kaizen-Muse coaching model are so effective, so compassionate, so honoring of the non-linear ways of the creative process that I'm in awe at how many wonderful ways exist for encouraging and supporting anyone facing creative blocks, fears, and resistance towards realizing their creative dreams. •
