Where there's a wit, there's a way...
The itch to see my business name gracing the barrel of a lot (250) of pens was finally scratched in late 2009 when I decided to take the leap into "table-topping" my creativity coaching services at a holistic health fair/open house for businesses related to the arts, holistic healing, self-growth, and creativity. Creativity Enhancing eGifts: SARK's Online Multimedia Program and Teleclasses April-6-2010
Updated Affiliate Links
Susan Kennedy's got a brand-new live teleclass series called Dream Boogie with SARK: Dancing from DREAMing to DOing beginning April 14, 2010, that looks like loads o' fun . Different from her other programs, this is one where she'll be personally involved working with you and your dream(s) through tele-classes, forums, weekly "boogie books" and more.
Group coaching is very effective if 1:1 is not an option for you. In fact, I've appreciated the opportunity to learn so much from others in a group dynamic, especially in Eric Maisel's and Jill Badonsky's creativity coach trainings.
If you want to learn more about what best-selling author SARK offers in the way of healing, writing, and boogy-dreaming e-courses, feel free to visit the Planet SARK eShop for detailed descriptions on her classes. (Note that this post is full of Creativity Portal's affiliate links to SARK's stuff, so if you sign up for anything, we appreciate your support!) •

Fessing Up: Okay, 'Rhoda Burrow' Was My 2010 April Fool's Joke April-3-2010
[sings] "She rode a burrow up the mountain..."
Yes, best-selling author and mountaineer Rhoda Burrow was an April Fool's Day joke. I did not design her book cover/dust jacket for "An Artist's Guide to Creative Peak", because best-selling Rhoda Burrow doesn't exist, and neither does her book nor blog, except in my own humorist imagination. Designing Rhoda Burrow's 'Creative Peak' Book Cover April-1-2010
Mountaineering Out of Mole Hills
I am so excited about this awesome graphic design opportunity that came my way! Long story short, last summer a creativity coaching client, best-selling author Rhoda Burrow (I'm at liberty to share this info because she's publicly posted about our professional relationship on her blog), asked if I had any design ideas for the cover of her upcoming book, An Artist's Guide to Creative Peak. She's an avid backpacking mountain climber and writer, so the mountain/creative peak metaphor was central to the books' theme. Anyway, I whipped up a few designs and she actually liked one of them, the one shown above, which has been approved for the books' first printing run.
I'm thrilled because this is the first big-book jacket design I've done — a great piece for the portfolio, if you know what I mean. And Rhoda, bless her creative heart, gave Creativity Portal first dibs on an excerpt ("What IS Creative Peak?") from Creative Peak, which you can find linked from Rhoda's profile page. Yay! • |
